The six girls increase their friendship when they start taking on projects together, like fighting the school bully, lobbying for better student information, and all sorts of other things. In between projects, Halo and Annette sneak off to make out, and Tazer finds herself falling in love with a girl she can’t have.
The inside art is usually black and white, with the exception of “Rainbow,” which is slated for publication in June 2006. Some issues have more art than others, and our first full art comic will appear this year. The comics are published quarterly, and in between updates to the site will include print copies of the issues, posters and other new merchandise, as well as free downloads in the members’ area like pin-up posters, wallpapers, and avatars.
I’m Jada Rene (JadaRene@yahoo.com), the creator of SNATCH and lead author for the series. My sister, Saydie B (saydie.b@gmail.com), is our editor, and both of us work for free. Our artists work by commission only and so far all of them have worked for cut rates to help us raise more money for our community organizations. You can find a complete list of the organizations we believe in supporting on the Resources page.
